3SC were delighted to be this years sponsors of the Wolverhampton Colleges Apprenticeship Awards in Construction.

It was wonderful to see young students being recognised and rewarded for their achievements and hard work, as well as the companies and organisations supporting them through their training and work development.
As apart of its social and economic values 3SC realises how important it is to support its local economy and local workforce. It also realises how important it is to invest in future generations and the wider development of young talent. To this means, 3SC have committed to an ambitious apprenticeship recruiting programme and are currently looking to take on board a further Health and Safety trainee to support the growth of its Facilities Management division.
3SC have been awarded a number of contracts this summer across the South and City Colleges Birmingham and the City of Wolverhampton Colleges, one of which is the new creation of a commercial training kitchen and servery at Wellington Road Wolverhampton.
Works are now well on their way with the opening to be late August 24.

3SC have undertaken a number of successful commercial kitchen installs now under the umbrella of lager contracts of new builds or refurbishment works. The design partnership as worked well seeing 3SC complete all builders works, inclusive of mechanicals and electrical works and overseeing the install of the stainless steel components, cooker, fryers and associated kitchen items along with walk in freezers.
Over the past 2 years 3SC as successfully completed a number of complexed switch gear upgrades, two being older colleges with asbestos being present.
The works have made way for an new electrical division to be formed and 3SC now embark on winning more works of such nature.
In July 24 works will start at Wolverhampton college upgrading their switching systems and LEV lighting.
